Pearl millet/Kambu Koozhu

This is an easy recipe for springtime.
1 cup Bajra/Millet Flour
2 cups Buttermilk (see the post on how to make takra)
4 cups Water
3/4 tsp Salt
3 Shallots chopped thinly
3 tbsp Chopped Cilantro

Take the bajra/millet flour and put it in water in a pot
By hand mix it to make sure there are no clumps
Put it on a medium heat and stir for about 15 minutes
Then turn off the heat and let it cool
Then add buttermilk, salt, and water and mix it well
Add the chopped shallots and cilantro. (you can also use an onion instead of shallot)

A second recipe to throw in here is that you can instead let the porridge cool and then roll the millet into balls. You can put these into any curry to enjoy them.
