Laja Peya and Laja Kshira

Easy Breakfasts
 
Laja Peya
2 cups Laja (can blend it to powder)
4 cups Water

Preparation:
Cook puffed rice in boiling water for 6 minutes. 
Add buttermilk and salt
Serve warm

Laja Ksheera
1 glass whole organic milk
Add 2 tbsp of laja (can blend it to powder)
Add sugar
Cook and stir as it cooks until milk boils
Turn off
Let cool enough to drink
Enjoy

  1. hi can you tell about quinoa? i am wondering why nobody talks about it. i love it, as dal and even mung dal is difficult for me to digest

    • Where is quinoa from? This is why nobody talks about it except for a western ayurveda. It is not in any of the ancient texts because it did not exist in India and only today is imported there. Then if you wanna look up all the different tastes, qualities and actions that Western Ayurveda puts on different substances And then check those with what the actual ancient texts tell you, a lot can be seen and learned about what Western Ayurveda makes things into verses what they are. Mung being difficult to digest would speak about your digestion rather than the substance.
