Cabbage Sambharo

Cabbage Sambaro is a lightly cooked cabbage salad. It is very quick to make and very light and tasty with many different rasas.
  • Cabbage – 2 Cups thinly chopped
  • Carrot – ½ Cup grated
  • Curry Leaves one stem
  • Green Chilis – 2 chopped
  • Turmeric – ½ Tsp
  • Mustard Seed – 1 Tsp
  • Sugar – 1 Tsp
  • Salt – To Taste
  • Lemon Juice – 1 Tbsp
  • Sunflower Oil – 1½ Tbsp
  1. Heat up the Sunflower oil, cook the mustard seeds until they pop. Then add in the chili and curry leaves. Then after a minute add the carrots and cabbage. Cook for two minutes while turning then gently.
  2. Turn the flame to low. Proceed by adding the turmeric, salt, and sugar.
  3. Before serving squeeze on the lemon juice and mix.
